What is a GAM?

GAM is a term from the old whaling days, when one ship pays a social visit to another at sea. Captains used this chance to exchange important information (Wikipedia, and the Southern Shores Boat Club continues that tradition in our off-season GAMs. Like the New Englanders of past, let's get together for a hearty breakfast and informative presentations.
